SUmmative ASSESSMENT
Research
As this project is about my personal progress and a self-reflection, I decided to go to the library and collect books that relate to work that I am passionate about. I am interested in collages but I am extremely interested in printing, especially Letter Press. I love that every print is different and I also love all the imperfections that come with the prints.

ELLIOT ULM
Elliot Ulm is a graphic designer that I have recently found on youtube. I really love his work as it has a anti-design feel and also a retro aesthetic. I like the strong bold colours he uses and I enjoy how he plays around with the positioning of the typography.

Whilst looking through 'Design in photo collage', I was reminded of David Hockney's collages; I am a big fan of Hockney's Joiners work. These unique works are created by taking multiple individual photographs and arranging them together to create a larger, more complex image. I decided to have a go myself and see what I could come up with.
